The Montecristo “La Nuit” line, inspired by the novel by Alexandre Dumas, “The Count of Monte Cristo”, where the hero Edmond Dantès spent much of his life in darkness, far from his beloved, abandoned by all, and imprisoned on an island, experienced truly turbulent and harsh moments that demonstrated the true strength of the character to overcome fear before finally finding redemption. With its enigmatic and mysterious chromatic gradient evoking a bright moon hanging in the black night sky, this variation echoed the unforeseen circumstances that occurred in the protagonist’s life before he rose from the ashes.
